Flatrock Film/Digital Engagement

The magic of the early morning.

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of photographing the engagement session of Felicia and Brandon. They were visiting from another province and wanted to watch the sunrise in Flatrock. We met up before the first light to hike into one of my favorite spots. Normally there is a huge waterfall, but we had such a dry year that it was just a small stream. But, that made it so we were able to walk down towards the water which you couldn’t do before. I had never viewed this spot from that angle and it was so beautiful. We watched the sun come up and the moon go down. We had the spot to ourselves since it was so early in the morning and it was such a special way to start the day.

I tried a new film out for this session and was so in love with the results.
