C + T Logy Bay Elopement

East Coast Trail Elopement

One of the biggest perks of planning an elopement in Newfoundland is choosing from some incredible locations to get married. Initially, C and T wanted to get married along the cliffs of Logy Bay overlooking the Atlantic. But on the day of their wedding, the weather had other plans. In typical St. John’s style, the day started with rain with the chance of some sunshine later in the day. About an hour before their ceremony, they made the call to exchange their vows somewhere more sheltered. Bannerman park has a cute bungalow that worked great for an outdoor space that offered protection from the rain. They had a few guests and live-streamed their ceremony to family and friends. It was an incredibly beautiful and emotional ceremony. During their vows, the rain stopped and the sun started to come out. It was such a lovely way to celebrate their love.

After the ceremony, it was time for posed photos. We took a few with their family and puppy at Bannerman Park before heading somewhere more adventurous. Their vision for the day was to spend a relaxing afternoon exploring beautiful locations with each other. I think we were able to accomplish that! We went to one of my favourite spots along the east coast trail for golden hour. It was such an incredible day and I’m grateful to have been a part of such an important day in their lives.
