Customized Location Guidance

Newfoundland offers countless beautiful locations for your wedding or elopement. Whether you dream of a sunrise ceremony on Gros Morne, a quiet outdoor adventure, or an intimate indoor celebration, I will create a curated list of locations that match your vision. There are options for every level of accessibility and adventure so your day can be exactly what you want it to be.

Digital and Film Photography

I combine digital and film photography to tell your story in the most authentic way. Digital captures crisp, vibrant images while film adds a timeless, romantic, and emotional quality. Together, they create a collection of photos that is cinematic, heartfelt, and uniquely yours.

Introvert-Friendly Direction

I understand that being photographed can feel intimidating, especially if you are shy or not used to cameras. My approach combines gentle direction with natural, candid moments so you feel comfortable, relaxed, and fully present on your wedding day.

Editing and Composition

My style is romantic, candid, and moody, refined over years of photographing weddings. Each image highlights your connection, the light, and the atmosphere of your day while remaining timeless and modern.

Fast Image Delivery

I work with a limited number of couples each year so I can focus on providing a personalized experience. Sneak peeks are shared within 48 hours and your full gallery will be delivered within 4 to 9 weeks. You get to relive your day quickly and enjoy your photos without a long wait.

Local Vendor and Experience Recommendations

Whether you want a unique adventure or a quiet, intimate ceremony, I will help you plan a day that reflects who you are. I provide a curated list of trusted local vendors, including florists, hair and makeup artists, and venues. All of my recommendations are LGBTQIA2S+ friendly so you can feel safe, supported, and confident in every choice.

Timeline and Planning Assistance

With over ten years of wedding photography experience, I help couples create timelines that flow naturally and make the most of their day. You will receive a personalized planning guide, regular check-ins, and the option to connect over phone or video to ensure you feel confident and prepared.

Common Questions

  • Short answer, no! I also photograph portraits, engagements, maternity, newborn, family and commercial sessions. You can view my work and packages for those on my portraits page.

  • Start by sending me a message through my contact page. From there we can meet up for coffee or video chat to get to know each other a bit better. Once you decide to book, I require a retainer fee and provide you with a contract and invoice that can be signed online.

    After you are all booked in, I am available for any questions you have regarding the wedding timeline and can offer vendor suggestions.   I want to make sure your wedding day is as relaxed as possible.

  • Yes! Most of my packages come with both digital and film photography.

    For film cameras I use 35 mm. Right now I’m alternating between the Leica Minilux and Canon AE-1. I use a mix of colour and black and white film. Usually Kodak Portra and Gold for colour.

  • I offer several different package options to fit your timeline and well can customize any package to suit your needs.

    You can Contact me for my full detailed price list. For both elopements and weddings, my most commonly booked package is 6 hours. That usually covers getting ready photos, the ceremony, one to two locations and the beginning of the reception.

  • Yes! Even though I am based in St. John’s, Newfoundland – I love to travel and will go anywhere around the island and across Canada.

    I also would take on some international weddings depending on the location!

  • I will send a few sneak peeks within 48 hours after your wedding that you can share with your family and friends.

    Your full gallery will take four to twelve weeks to edit and then you will receive your high-resolution images through an online gallery to download.

  • I sure can! I have signed as a witness at many elopements. You just need to have one other person sign as the second witness.

  • Honestly? It will make for great photos. Some of my favourite photos were taken on a day filled with rain, drizzle and fog. I’m also an expert at pivoting plans last minute. If we plan to hike to the top of a mountain and it’s a rainstorm, we’ll find you a STUNNING forest nearby to say your vows. Is there a hurricane in the forecast? I’ve got two backup plans that would be just as amazing as the original spot. Whatever Mother Nature throws at us, I’ll be ready!
