St. John’s Backyard Wedding

Candid summer wedding in St. John’s, Newfoundland

Backyard weddings are always some of my favourites, and this one was no exception. I started the day with the groom as he got ready with his friends. Then headed to the cutest air bnb that overlooks the narrows to photograph the bride getting ready. They had the sweetest first look with a view of signal hill behind them. We even got a few waves from some boats as they passed by. And then we headed to the Winterholme to spend a few moments taking some portraits.

Their ceremony was incredibly meaningful and they said I do surrounded by their closest family and friends. They wanted a relaxed day with mostly candid photos so the rest of the evening was spent eating yummy food, enjoying conversations and custom drinks. Every detail was thoughtful and added to their magical day.
